Our Forged Steel Piston Check Valve is suitable for a range of applications and media including steam, air, gas and liquids such as thermal oil and water.This manual piston check valve is an economical, maintenance free valve with a Forged Steel A105N body and bolted bonnet conforming to API 602 and ASME B16.34. This check valve can be used in either vertical or horizontal orientation and ensures the protection of items of equipment that can be affected by reverse flow, it also offers a reduced risk of waterhammer.

Rated to 40 Bar, it will prevent back flow by sealing when any pressure/flow comes from the wrong direction. This check valve has a cracking presure of a few psi (depends upon the size) as it needs to compress the spring enough to allow flow. PTFE seat for temperatures up to 180°C.
